Want to get in on the ultimate summertime-fun community-builder, while making our city safer along the way? Join SF SAFE and the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) Tues., Aug. 6, 2019, for National Night Out’s citywide celebrations in a neighborhood near you.
Celebrated by millions of people across the county, National Night Out aims to bring together residents with their local public safety professionals to strengthen community connections and reduce crime.
Included in the lineup of free activities hosted by individual San Francisco police stations, and varying by location, will be arts & crafts, games, entertainment, music, food (i.e. taco truck, hot dog cart, etc.), face painting, bounce houses, rock climbing, martial arts, acrobatics, fire engines, mounted police, police/specialized units and station tours.
“I’d like to extend a special invitation to San Francisco community members to join SF SAFE and our partners at the SFPD at a National Night Out celebration near you,” said SF SAFE Executive Director Kyra Worthy. “It’s the perfect opportunity to get to know your local law enforcement officers better while enjoying some free, family friendly fun in the comfort of your own neighborhood. We hope to see you there!”
