SFPD November Virtual Community Meetings
San Francisco residents wanting to be a part of the solution toward creating a safer city can get started by joining their local San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) station and SF SAFE for a monthly virtual community meeting. By participating in the meeting—and, in turn, community policing—you’ll not only get the latest safety news from your local captain and officers, but also the opportunity to discuss issues that matter to you.
Each month, the ten SFPD stations host a community meeting virtually on Zoom, and sometimes, also in-person in their district. The meetings usually take place on
a consistent day (and usually, time) of the month at each police station.
SFPD community meetings are typically run by the station’s captain and offer community members a chance to hear directly from their local station leadership
about crime trends, police activities and relevant safety-centric news, as well as a chance for them to discuss what’s important to them.
