Come Create a Safer SF at National Night Out

Tonight’s the night (Tues., Aug. 3)! The ten San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) stations invite you to their respective National Night Out events throughout the city. Aside from food, entertainment and fun activities, it’s a chance to build police-community connections that help create a safer San Francisco for us all.

Here’s a rundown of SFPD station activities for National Night Out. Don’t know your station? Click here for the SFPD Station Finder.

SFPD Bayview Station: Join the station for its National Night Out event Aug. 3 from 5-7 p.m. at the Bayview Opera House, 4705 3rd St. Featuring a talent show, resource fair, basketball tournament & more.

SFPD Central Station: The station’s event is Aug. 3 from 5-7 p.m. at the Salesian Boys and Girls Club, 680 Filbert St. Featuring food, balloon animals, face painting, games, music & more.

SFPD Ingleside Station: The station will host its event Aug. 3 from 5-7 p.m. at Balboa Park, 34 Sgt. John Young Ln.

SFPD Mission Station: Stop by for the station’s event Aug. 3 from 5-7 p.m. at Mission Playground, 19th St. & Linda St.

SFPD Northern Station: Come over to the station’s event Aug. 3 from 4-6 p.m. at Ella Hill Hutch Community Center, 1050 McAllister St. Featuring BBQ and the team Northern Station vs. Team Ella Hill Hutch basketball challenge.

SFPD Park Station: Stop by the station’s event Aug 3 from 5-7 p.m. at the Harvey Milk Center, 50 Scott St. Featuring snacks, skateboard lessons and mobile skate park, photo booth, chalk drawings and more.

SFPD Richmond Station: The station’s event will be Aug. 3 from 4-7 p.m. at 450 7th Ave, Muriel Leff Mini Park and back parking lot of Richmond Station off 7th

Ave. (between Geary and Anza). Open to all, food, fun, activities and police and fire vehicles will be on display.

SFPD Southern Station: The station will host two National Night Out events on Aug. 3 from 5-7 p.m.: Yerba Buena Gardens, 4th St. & Howard St. and also at Treasure Island, Gateway Ave. & Gateway Ct.

SFPD Taraval: Stop by the station’s National Night Out event Aug. 3 from 5-7 p.m. at the Minnie & Lovie Ward Recreation Center, 650 Capitol Ave.

SFPD Tenderloin Station: Come enjoy the station’s National Night Out event on Aug. 3 from 5-7 p.m. at Boeddeker Park, 246 Eddy St.
