SFPD August Virtual & In-Person Community Meetings
Want to play an active role in creating a safer San Francisco? Join SF SAFE and the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) for a monthly community meeting! By
participating, you’ll not only stay updated on the latest safety news from your local captain and officers, but also have an opportunity to weigh-in on the issues that matter to you.
Here’s the scoop: Every month, each of the ten SFPD stations host a community meeting virtually on Zoom, and sometimes, also in-person in their district. The meetings typically happen on a consistent day (and usually, time) of the month at each police station.
SFPD community meetings are usually run by the station’s captain and offer community members a chance to hear directly from their local station leadership about crime trends, police activities and relevant safety-centric news, as well as a chance for them to discuss what’s important to them.
