Fall is here and SF SAFE is celebrating by throwing our free-admission, 3rd annual Halloween Candy Explosion Sat. Oct. 28 along with sweet treats, food, carnival games, jumpers, a pumpkin patch, face painting, a costume contest and much more. While we’ll be in touch on social media about the time and location—one thing is certain—it’s a great chance to have fun with SFPD cops and SF SAFE while also enjoying our shared community.
Also this month, we respectfully observe Domestic Violence Month and offer a recap of the crucial services available to those who need them. Read on to find out more. We also share some tips about staying safe after visiting the ATM, amid a California uptick in “bank jugging”.
And finally, we give you the rundown on the SFPD’s monthly Community Meetings, which are a great way for residents to get involved in helping make San Francisco safer.
